info: A wedding dress is only for that "one day"?
The eagle eyed amongst you will have noticed some posts relating to Trash The Dress (or Shoot The Dress) and we thought that we would explain a bit about this. It started in America – a kind of after-wedding shoot of the bride in all sorts of grungy or wet or industrial locations – and the beautiful wedding dress would be (you guessed it) 'trashed' during the photography. Oops!
"What, trash the dress, have you lost your mind?"
Well think of it more as a post wedding shoot (a few days or weeks after the wedding itself) in various locations depending on the couple's wishes and our ideas for them. Could be a gorgeous field of buttercups or it could be a disused railway station, a old building, a farmyard or whatever. It is essentially a fun and relaxed day of photography to celebrate you as a couple. And no trashing of the dress; that is unless you want to …..
